John put on about another 60 grams last night. Woo!

The surgeon was finally able to evaluate his g-button site. It was determine to be just a little too large for him, so a smaller tube was placed.
How they managed to replace it with a smaller tube without surgery is a miracle to me. I was concerned it would be another surgery followed by more days of hospitalization, but fortunately it wasn’t.

I’m hesitant to say this, but we think he’s going home tomorrow morning. They were going to try for today, but there was a concern with rushing the event and possibly not having a his feeding equipment available.

We’re not quite out of the woods yet as there are going to be a plethora of follow-up appointments.
