3 Weeks

October 20th, 2014 – A lot has happened in the past 3 weeks.

Just 3 weeks ago John was getting ready to have his trach surgery, Thomas & I had to travel to the Ronald McDonald house in Temple to stay the night before. I was a nervous wreck because my baby had yet another surgery. We didn’t know exactly what the outcome would be when he had the trach placed. In reality, we still don’t know 100% if he’ll need more equipment or further assistance.

This is a trach.
This is a trach.

His pulmonologist, Dr. Chavez, is arranging another sleep study now that he has the trach. It’ll show if he needs further assistance and exactly what type of assistance.

I have teeth! (nom. nom. nom.)

John now has 4 teeth with a 5th on the way!

We’re searching for a night nurse who could work 4-5 nights a week with 10hr shifts. In a perfect world she’ll be able to work 2 Sundays a month so I can go to church and not sit in the nursery.

Please be in prayer that we find someone rather quickly because I am really exhausted from getting up to suction John every hour. We also need prayer on finding a bigger place, preferably a house. If you can tell from the pictures we’re clearly running out of room.
